Re: Extrusion multiplier resetting to 50x

When you make the change from 50.0 to 1.0 rather then just hitting OK, go up to the top by the printer profile section, and select update profile or save as new. See if that helps. It should remain modified, which it isnt, so it definently is an issue.

Re: Robo 3d r1 printing short in simplify3d

If your print is printing short, there is a good chance you are underextruding. Try creating 4 processes each having .05 added to the extrusion multiplier, so process1 should have 1.05, process2 1.1, process3 1.15, and process 4 1.2 Then print 4 cubes, ensuring you set each cube to a seperate proces...

Re: Extrusion multiplier resetting to 50x

That is weird and probably a little bug. Have your tried deleting that processes and recreating it? If that doesnt work, try deleting that process, deleting the profile and recreating both.

Re: Printing PETG

I have wipe on, set at 1.5mm. Might be to much or to little? Maybe play with coast instead or both.?

Printing PETG

Hey Guys, I been printing with PETG for about 20 hours now and gotta say that I love it. It is very strong/durable, doenst warp, lift, or crack like ABS and isnt as brittle as PLA. It also has a higher density, so objects have that heavier quality feel to them. It took a but to dial in the print tem...

Re: PEI Print Bed Question

I agree, McMaster.com is the place to go. I got a disccount threw work but the normal price is 44 +shipping. Worth every dollar in my opinion.

Re: Top layer is rough

After playing with the flow rate on a couple calibration blocks. I found that I was simply extruding 3 percent to much and was enough to cause a pretty rough top surface. Now the surface looks great! Thanks for the reply
