Re: missing toolbar

It seem to only work if you put S3D in full screen, but there you can move the cursor as far right as possible and right-click or two finger click to get toolbar back.

Re: 3D Honeycomb Infill

I would love to see loads of new and wacky infill patters... some Structural ones and some mad ones! While I also love crazy infill patterns, they will not be visible in all practical cases. And I believe that the purpose of the software (S3D) is to make infill practical, and leave the artistic sid...

Re: Support structure "growing like a tree" from build platf

It would be great if s3d would support this. I use Autodesk Print Studio for such support.

Re: Processes and layer height ???

You should take into account the first layer height as well.

Re: Reduce vibrations from narrow infill

Thanks, it helps. But I wish that the slicer could lower the acceleration only when making the narrow infills, not for the entire print.

Re: auto-configure

This would mean that you are defining your extruder settings as a function of quality. You can't place the same <extruder> tags inside the material options, since that would mean you placed the <extruder> tag in both places, which is not allowed. So you can't edit the extruder width and diameter in...

Re: auto-configure

That's exactly how it's supposed to work. You can choose whether a setting is changed based on material, quality, or if it remains fixed (i.e. just part of the base profile). You have to pick ONE. It can't be changed by material and quality since that wouldn't make sense. And yes, if you want mater...

Re: Settings changes for quality change

As long as your printer are able to print it, layer height should be the only option. However you may or should also need to double the initial layer height setting.

Re: auto-configure

The ExtrusionMultiplier tag is one that I tested (in the Material profile use normal tag <ExtrusionMultiplier>, in Quality profile use <globalExtrusionMultiplier>). Quality value overrides the Material value... possibly because its a "global" setting? I think this "feature" is buggy at best. It see...

Reduce vibrations from narrow infill

When I print using higher speeds, and when the infill are being printed where width is maybe around 1-3 mm, the movement of the printhead back and forth creates an intense vibration. I have tried dampening, but I think it would help to have an option to slow down the speed while printing. The reason...
