Re: Feature request: Adaptive layer height

Thanks for adding your interest to this previously requested feature . I'll be monitoring this thread to gauge interest in just such an addition. Thank you... it wasn’t titled with the same description so I couldn’t find it in the search, and it’s been a year since those posts... but thank you for ...

Feature request: Adaptive layer height

I know that we can use multiple processes in S3D in order to change layer heights to speed up printing objects that have combined vertical and angled surfaces, but it would be nice to have this be an automatic thing so that we don't have to cross-section the model, figure out the layers, set up a di...

Re: Variable acceleration and Jerk

Following because I'm interested in a GUI solution... I don't want to to have to learn programming just to make a few changes to smooth out my prints... :D

Here's what I use:

Code: Select all

G90 ; R absolute positioning
G1 Z+50.0 Y+200 ; move head up 50mm and move the bed (y axis) forward

thank you... that's the response I was looking for

I'll try it... I can always remove it :D

GCode script additions... Creality CR-10

Hello... I'd like to add to the Code a script that will move the bed of my printer towards me (The opposite of home) for easier removal of my prints or as more of a presentation Tadaaa when the print is done... I'd like it so that when the printer is done the bed slides towards me to the stop, basic...

Blobby first 20 layers then regular printing

I'm printing PLA at 210° on a 70° glass bed with no surface prep. I'm getting good 'stick' and 'smoosh' on the first later then I get blobby layers (looks like over extrusion) for the first 20 or so layers, then the print looks normal (like regular extrusion)... I need help trying to figure out what...

Re: Auxiliary PLA cooling fan control for Malyan M180

Never thought to switch the leads... the 'red' went to the 'red' and 'black' to 'black' and the plug 'fit' but something may be reversed... I'll try it and see

Auxiliary PLA cooling fan control for Malyan M180

I have printed a PLA blower fan adaptor for my M180 and installed a fan in the right-side position for testing... I've plugged the fan into the auxiliary wire located in the right front of the printer housing and it's a 12v 40mm x 10mm 8+ CFM fan as recommended... When I go to print, the fan does no...
