Re: FLSUN Super Racer machine profile help

Hope they tested the filament runout detection with their version of the profile. Also, need to be careful not to move too fast during infill, it's easy to exceed the filament delivery limit and end up with a messy infill. I've been fine-tuning my own V5 Super Racer profile, It fixes all of the abov...

Re: Insert M600 at layer change

V5 now has the ability to add a "Process Change" script, which allows for filament change reasonably easily. Here's how: Set up a single process (Process 1) to print your part, select Prepare to Print Slide the scroll bar to find the point at which you want to add your filament change (or ...

Things you've taken away in V5

Hi, I'm a LONG time user (and proponent) of S3D. I recently "upgraded" to version 5, and was immediately hit with a variety of issues. Some simple, some downright annoying. 1. Your license terms have become onerous. Even though you say I can have the program loaded onto more that one machi...

Re: Please add a profile for the Flsun Super Racer

Took some doing, but I did manage to get S3D running well with FLSun Super Racer. The biggest issue had to do with the filament runout sensor not working. It did work however with gcode from Cura. I went back to Cura briefly and discovered two things: Cura inserts an M82 (absolute E) at the start of...

Re: How to add filament change

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I would be just as happy if there was some way (in S3D) to insert a script at a specific height. Then I could put whatever I wanted, say M600, there. This would be printer agnostic and solve the problem many people face. It would NOT require " more data to be col...

How to add filament change

I see that there's not been much action on this thread, and I'm surprised (if true) that the S3D folks haven't seen fit to give us a way to EASILY inject M600 into a GCode stream. I always use an SD card to move the files, and even though it looks like the "Additional terminal commands for post...

Re: 4.11 has graphical issues

I had this same problem on Lenovo T410 running Windows 10. It was using the Intel video drivers. In the Device Manager I changed to the Generic Windows driver and the problem went away. BTW version 3.1 did not exhibit this issue with either driver.

Re: Freeze for few seconds middle of printing

I apparently am one of the few that continue to use version 3, and it's only because version 4 has this momentary freeze problem when talking through USB. The problem happens reliably, but always at different points in the print. Version 3 (on the SAME machines) never does this. So I'm stuck at vers...

Re: Pause While Printing Through USB

Same here. I reverted back to 3.1.1. Prints are perfect again. Hope they fix this!
