What version are you on? The latest is 4.0.1, and you can download it directly from https://www.simplify3d.com/software/
The new (4.1) update will be out soon (TM) though, so you could just wait for that.
You presumably loaded a new firmware (and you're using Marlin) configured for the BLTouch, right? You'll find that #define PROBING_HEATERS_OFF is uncommented and causing the heaters to turn off. I've had no issues with my 3.5k (?) screen with Simplify, but with some Java apps I've had success poking around in S3D Shortcut > Properties > Compatibility > Change High DPI Settings.
S3D is not putting supports there because the Support Pillar Resolution is set too large for the part it is supporting. Try lower that setting bit by bit until it generates correctly. You'll also likely want to use a few (maybe 3?) Dense Support Layers so it is easier to remove on the delicate bits....
