Hmmm, you may be right. I just loaded one of the files from the screen shots and selected the default profile, selected the thin wall settings, and the squares were not there. Have you tried increasing your top solid layers / perimeter outlines? I've had better luck with higher numbers there, so I default to 5 now, and adjust from there.

Thanks for the reply...it turned out I didn't actually need a raft in this case, but if I did it would be pretty annoying. dkightly says it can be done, but I haven't found a way to make it work yet....

The rule here is if you ask a question, everyone jumps in to scold you for not posting factory files and screenshots. Then when you post factory files and screen shots, nobody ever replies again. ;P Sorry my "blind" suggestion didn't help; at least I tried. I hope you figure out the answer...

Check the Advanced tab and make sure "Start printing at height" isn't checked.

Firmware version is 1.1.5.44, but I don't think that has anything to do with it, because the raft issue shows up in print preview, if you look at it from the proper angle.
