Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

I have no problem paying for stable and nice software!
S3D is not expensive compared to what i use it for.
I have compilers for some micro there cost many times what i have payed for S3D, and the license i only for one year!
So for me it is ok to pay for a V5 license.

What to expect, 4.1?

*Install 4.1 and play a little round, only change i can find in the GUI is
1- In the Scripts tab, a dropdown menu changed a little.
2- In the temperature tab there is removed a line with two option.
No more GUI change i can find, the rest must be behind in the software.

Re: S3D 4.01 skipping/omitting parts in prints

If looking at the stl in Meshmixer or running some Repair_detect in S3D you see error in the stl. Maybe that is the real problem.

Re: Extruder setup and filament...

@rrdavis That's a nice hints, i fixed it.
I just thinking not all can do XML without messing things up. Therefore it will be a nice feature if S3D will rewrite the "profile" code, and do it more easy to handle...

Extruder setup and filament...

Can anyone explain why this setup is not assigned to the filament? I use PLA, ABS, PETG, but the filament are not using the same "Retraction" and "Coasting Distance". The value in the "Ooze Control" are locked to all type filament, why? I have in the drop down menu my filament, but it changing only ...

Re: Printing undersized holes?

This is not a overall scaling problem, only a slot/hole problem.

Printing undersized holes?

I design a lot of prototyping and use 3D printer to get the job done before sending to a fab house. Printing undersized holes is a problem. All outer dimension is spot on, but every slot or hole are too small! It is not filament shrinking. There are lot of article describing it, and solution too but...
