Can't make 3 wall cylinder

I have a cylinder that has wall of 1.5mm thick. I want to print it as 3 perimeters without any infill. My nozzle is 0.5mm and I set extrusion width at 0.5. Layers are set to 3 Perimeter Shells. In Advanced I have Thin Wall behavior set to : Allow Single extrusion walls and Perimeter Only. However in...

Re: Print part size varies in different parts of the bed

They all vary in size. For example I print 4 large tubes in 4 corners of the bed. Each one is slightly different diameter, some as much as 0.5mm
I'll try printing them one by one in each corner and compare...

Print part size varies in different parts of the bed

Been scratching my head on this one. I scale part with trial and error and it prints to perfect dimensions in the middle of the bed. But when I duplicate it, those duplicates will vary in sizes (even tho they scaled the same). What could cause this? My printer is Makergear m2, filament Armadillo...

Re: Settings for Skirt Speed only

Thanks for the feature request. This seems to already have it's own thread. https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=2566 Thanks! I hope it gets implemented in next release! :) It's not a pleasant workaround but you can manually modify those lines to reduce the speed in the generated G-code. To...

Settings for Skirt Speed only

I really would like a way to slow down skirt print speed. It prints faster than everything else in first layer and frequently creates big problems with adhesion to print bed for me. I have to babysit it and pull off skirt as it's start to drag behind the nozzle. This is THE ONLY part of print that d...

Showing ETA/ETL progress on LCD Screen

Is there any way to send remaining print time and progress percentage to printer's LCD controller when printing over USB? I know I can see it via Machine Control Panel, but frequently my PC has monitor off and I'd like to see it on the printer's screen (for example CR-10)...

Re: Starting Script issues

On a lot of the printers, you can put the binder clips wherever you want when you set it up. So maybe different people are putting the clips in different locations? On this particular printer 99% of people would attach clips in 4 corners of the heating bed. Two in front and two in rear. You can't p...

Re: Starting Script issues

Thanks guys! Yeah I changed it so lifts nozzle after homing, then goes to middle of the bed, lowers, blobs and wipes... Seems to be working. I'm just surprised original code was there in the cloud profile for CR-10, I have standard CR-10 printer so it would affect anyone who uses this profile, right...
