Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

Once Prusa gets their Slic3r PE to have the same ease of adding and removing supports as S3D has, it is game over for S3D. That is the one area they REALLLY shine in, and are FAR ahead of everyone else.

Is there any news on this profile for the MMU2, it would be great if we could get one, as its a lot to pay out for this software and not be able to use it for the Prusa Mk3 MMU2. :o
Do not expect it any time soon, due to the complexity of it, but I agree it would be wonderful.

Re: Adjusting Time estimates in 4.1

Also would be nice if there was there variable we could use in the scripting language to lets say display print time remaining in message on the printer display. Yes? So we could then display time remaining after a layer change. The Prusa version of Slic3r does this. Could be specifically written c...

Re: Where can I download the older (functioning...) version?

Careful how you ask! I asked the same question last week and my post was promptly deleted. I would be good to be able to download older versions on an "at your own risk" use. I run 3, 4.0 and 4.0.1 due to feature changes. Makes a nice setup to have a few options. I'm quite annoyed that posts are ge...

Re: BUG: 4.1 prints supports when told not to print them

They should just rename it to "Hide all supports from view", since that is the only thing it does. It does not remove supports, it does not clear supports, it does nothing to the supports but hide them from view. Nooo, it doesn't do that at all. If add manual supports, then remove them with "Clear ...

It does not remove supports, it does not clear supports, it does nothing to the supports but hide them from view. I think, I will not follow this furthermore. Why did you feel the need to tell us all ...

Re: BUG: 4.1 prints supports when told not to print them

Why do they have a "Clear All Supports" button if that button is not actually going to Clear All Supports? All it does is makes you THINK it cleared all the supports, but the slicer is actually going to add ALL the supports instead. It is not "as it should work", it is a long standing bug then. The...

Re: 4.1 prints supports when told not to print them

At least I am not going crazy, I was SURE it did not act this way in 4.0 and 4.0.1. Thanks for the confirmation.
