When I slice this object that has holes in the bottom it creates 4 layers of infill to cover them. This makes sense when the infill is sparse but I am using 100% infill so it should just be one single layer of 100% fill.

Yes I just came across this deficiency. It needs to be in mm or perhaps better a faction of a layer. A whole layer is definitely too low and 0 is impossible to remove with PLA.

Indeed I have been looking for a scale factor. In Skeinforge I scale ABS by 1.0057 because that is how much my ABS shrinks when it cools down from bed temperature to room temperature. I got to this figure on a machine with ball screw axes so the positioning is spot on but objects come out about 0.6%...
