... The new version 5.0 can't open 3MF files with path which contains a special charcters (ěščřžýáí). I have 3MF files in "Documents" folder, ... it's a bug in the new version. The thing is, why would you use special characters like that?

Only Special Characters I use are the underline _ and the Dash - and () for the naming convention. Snapmaker-PETG_Tower(HighQ) ...

Hi, I'm from germany and allways had trouble with profiles when using german umlauts (special characters) in file or process names as well as in comments of scripting lines.
Removing those special characters helped in my case.

I think that the program crashing on opening is a symptom of having used a special character in either a stl of process name.

Have you used any special characters at all?

... so it is! But for me the problem is not S3D! I can store any file with "Umlaute" to the SD-card. S3D accepts the file name, but the printer makes trouble. SD-card to printer, it reads out the full name of the file shown on the display, but doesn't execute anything. I guess the problem...

Long file names, special characters etc. are more of an issue relating to the printers firmware than S3D.
For instance, Sailfish has a max of 30 characters.
