Lorei Duo Issues

Hey everyone,

Been fiddling with a Lorei Duo 12x12 that I got as a gift from a family member. After a lot of toying around and trial and error, I was able to get a semi-successful print. I first printed a Calibration Cube, then got excited so tried a D&D Mini from ThingiVerse. Short story is the quality was sub par. Below are photos of my calibration cube and the mini.

So I figured the quality of the mini was the issue, so I used the "Processor Settings" to change the quality from Medium to High and things took a huge step backwards. I Preheated, prefed the PLA like I did the previous times and started the print, and seemed like the nozzle just wasn't close enough to the plate to print, So tweaked things which seemed to help (in the Lorei changed the offset). It seemed to start printing nice and thing and got excited, but by the 3rd layer things didn't seem to be printing right and seemed like not enough material was coming out or something. I don't exactly know.

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions or can point me to where I can look to find a balance between the Medium setting but with more layers to maybe increase quality.

Thanks for your time!
