Bug or feature? First layer height fills interior

Ok, if I set First layer height into 100% and set the First layer width to 100%. The S3D wants to fill up the bottom of the part even that is not in 3D-model. And what is "fun" about it, is that it makes the solid bottom into air. It is 3rd layer (yes I tried to print it). If I change the first layer height into 95% or 105% it prints just fine (removes the solid bottom). So this is not major issue, but it did some WTF moments to me.

Here's some images from S3D to show what I mean:

It seems that is not a bottom, that is raft. You can peel off.

It is always better to attach a factory-file, so someone can import an analyse the problem

Its not a raft. This is something that S3D has a tendency to do if it has issues dealing with errors in the 3D model...and there are a couple of things I would try to resolve the problem you have.

Firstly...a quick and dirty possible solution...add 0.0001 to your layer thickness (eg if you have a layer thickness of 0.1mm, change it to 0.2001). If that doesn't work, add another 0.0001 to it...and it might cure the strange behavior.

Secondly....run the model through the online repair service at : https://netfabb.azurewebsites.net/ This will fix the error.
