Hello,
i have a problem with filenames containing special characters (in german, üäö...). When using a model with one of these characters inside the filename it all works until restarting s3d. Then it occurs a error and all model placed on Bed and all settings! are deleted.

... so it is!
But for me the problem is not S3D! I can store any file with "Umlaute" to the SD-card. S3D accepts the file name, but the printer makes trouble. SD-card to printer, it reads out the full name of the file shown on the display, but doesn't execute anything.
I guess the problem is the same when using USB-connection.

S3D and
special characters have had a mixed relationship:

Long file names, special characters etc. are more of an issue relating to the printers firmware than S3D.
For instance, Sailfish has a max of 30 characters.

I have no problems with the file itself. Normaly im printing via USB - but even with sdcard its working. The problem i mean is really s3d - because after restarting the xml loader fails with error
