Gap Fill doesn't work in some cases

Hi together,

I can print out really excelent quality with my Mankati and S3D.
Normally I have no proplems with gaps, when the walls are more than 3 mm wide.

Now I needed some parts, realy strong and solid printed, but the 2 mm walls end have a gap like the old problem with thin walls. I can look through the gap just to the table while solid boddem- and top layer 5 layers are determine.
This occures only when I taged on the Auto-ExtrusionWidth in EXTRUDER; I'm using a 0.60 mm nozzle and the Auto will calculate ExtrusionWidth 0.72
The same with Manuell ExtrusionWidth minimized to lower than 0.70 (pictures examples are 0.60) the gap will be closed and print out solid.

The difference you can see also in the print-preview as the real print out.

Is it a bug or a feature?

My standasds are
Infill - 75%, Outline 25%, ExtrusionWidth 130%
Allow Gap Fill = on, overlap 50%

Well if your extrusion of 0.72mm thick an it's a 2mm wall, then you only have 0.56mm left to fit in another extrusion. That isn't enough room to put another perimeter, but the gap fill can work since it is allowed to overlap with the outline slightly based on your infill outline overlap percentage.

If you increase your infill outline overlap to 30%, the gap fill will successfully fill in those gaps

Thanks, that's the solution.
I thought the Auto-ExtrusionWidth has to controle it by itself

Auto extrusion width just sets the extrusion width to a reasonable value based on your nozzle diameter. Some people who are new to 3D printing know that they have a 0.5mm nozzle, but they have no idea what width that nozzle should extrude at. The auto extrusion width setting handles that for them.
