Retraction vertical lift is my new favorite feature!
HE3D K280 delta printer - it keeps the head from snagging on tall parts and pulling them out of alignment.
QIDI Tech 1 Cartesian printer with dual extruders - it keeps the heads from snagging the first layer.
However I wish there was a simple way to turn it off based on the layer #. The QIDI printer uses a steel worm drive for the z-axis.
Basically for 100mm height at 0.2mm per layer -> 500 layers with multiple retractions per layer. I'm worried this will cause accelerated wear on the worm drive mechanism.
Suggestion: Checkbox to enable retraction vertical lift for solid layers only
