Poor top layer performance over infill

I am having a terrible time with the printing of the top layers that cover my infill. As you can see it doesn't seem to adhere to the infill and just gums up the nozzle. First layer bed adhesion, and printing of the infill pattern itself works great, it is just when it has to bridge the gaps of the infill to create the tops layers that it starts to look like this. I am printing ABS at 210 with 30% infill and 6 top layers on a Flashforge Inventor.

Re: Poor top layer performance over infill

Can you upload a factory file? It's hard to say for sure what is causing this without looking at much more than printing temperature, infill% and # of top layers.
