Should remember seperate paths for import and export operations

In v4 of Simplify, the software would "remember" separate paths for import and export paths. Now, whenever you import a file, your export path is also defaulted to that location and vise-versa. It is pretty annoying, and I much preferred the old behavior.

You can change this preference already. Go to Tools > Options and change the "File selection behavior" to "Remember a unique last used directory for each separate file type". I believe that will give you the behavior you are looking for.
