This assumption does not get you and your team off the hook from investigating the cause and working with 3DConnexion Developer support to find a remedy.I'm beginning to think the 3Dconnexion driver may have a bug in certain versions of MacOS based on some of the responses here.
For your investigative data collection:
I have a Space Navigator (model of 3D Space Mouse from 3DConnexion)
Firmware 3.17
Driver: 3DxWare 10
3DxMacCore version: 1.2.4.307 (307)
3DxWare version: 10.7.4 (3493)
I have tested this Space Navigator on the following Macintosh models and MacOS versions.
MacBook Pro (14inch, 2021) Apple M1 Pro 16GB RAM with macOS Ventura 13.1
iMac Pro (2017) 3.2Ghz 8-Core Intel Xeon W 32GB RAM with macOS Ventura 13.1
This 3DConnexion Space Navigator with these drivers functions correctly for me on the systems above with these applications:
Fusion360
Safari Browser
Shapr3D
Blender
There is no response to any controls on the Space Navigator mouse with Simplify3D version 5.0.0
