Re: Support not printing fully.

Your regular extrusion very well might be spot on but for the rest if your model but printing every other layer it would require 150% just for the extrusions to touch. Remember your basically doubling your layer height in that situation without ever extruding more material. If your printing pla then your probably quite a bit too hot at 230. The hotter a plastic is the worse it will bridge. Pla is usually 190-210. Change your angle to the default 0.

Re: Support not printing fully.

I've solved the slipping thing by having a screw adjustable spring.

I printed spacers for the fans cause two decided to go on holiday somewhere. The 20x20 cube came out spot on.

Am now going to use the left to do the support and after one test I just need to sort the retractions but top was smooth as a baby's bum.

I was just wondering why the GCode stated 0.3mm width. I know it doesn't control anything but where does it come from. If it's based on the extrusion rate and that's the extrusion width then I'm a bit puzzled. I've not set anything up to that effect in the settings, well I don't think so.

Not really sure why your gcode would say that. You have the extrusion multiplier and you also have the "on the fly" extrusion adjustment. Play with those then res lice and see if it changes in the gcode.
