Re: Top layer not filling honeycomb pattern

Your factory-files do not contain the same objects as shown first. But ok whenever the layer-high is now 0.18

The case is very flat and the heated bed temperature very high and no cooling.
The 110° are near by the glas-temperature of the material and with only 4 solid bottom-layers the melted plastic has no chance to cool down enough. So the following layers of your honeycomb are sinking down a little bit and the nozzle has no contact to its layer-high when printing the top-layers.

The only 3 honeycomb-layers have near 10 mm width when you give them only 30% and with only 4 top-layers you can not close the honeycomb-holes.

90° for the heated bed is enough. Infill 50 - 70%, extrusion-width max 130 %. Moderate cooling (10 - 50%).

Re: Top layer not filling honeycomb pattern

Looks to me that the model probably has some errors and cura is dealing with them better/differently.

Do you have the "heal" areas option selected in simplify?

Re: Top layer not filling honeycomb pattern

So modifying settings to closely mimic TAZ5 profile for ABS in Cura got it printed fine!

Here is FFF for 0.5 TAZ5 ( modified ABS/High)
