Re: Printing Speed Options

@alsaibie

You can use a seperate Process for the first layer(s)
Works perfect for me.

Re: Printing Speed Options

+1 to having inner and outer perimeters, and all infill individually configurable for speed. S3D is really lacking in options compared to Cura 2.3 beta... This shouldnt be...

Re: Printing Speed Options

+1 for first layer being static speed instead of a percentage of the print speed. Really annoying when adjusting print speeds when you just want x mmps for the first layer for all.

Re: Printing Speed Options

It would save a lot of time if you could print lets say the inside of a tube ad a greater or lesser speed than the out side of a tube dependent on the finish you require.
Think if you are making Moulds, you don't need any particular finish on the outside but the surface that will be in contact with the Moulded product could be in very high definition.
this would save a lot of time in printing
It could be a setting as a ratio or something 2:1 on a 100 micron outer means 50 micron inner.
Or something like combining layers for infill.

Re: Printing Speed Options

Just wanted to mention that Version 5.1 added support for controlling the top layer speed, so you can now define separate speeds for all of the items listed below:

outermost perimeters
inner perimeters
small perimeters (small holes)
infill
first layer
top layer

We still use percentages for most settings so that you can increase the print speed by changing a single value instead of having to change 20 values at the same time.
