no it doesnt. its best to remove the old one first otherwise you will have 2 on your computer at the same time and its easy to get them confused

Could we have an option to set the per-meter material-cost ourselves, and the currency it's shown in?

It's useful as a ballpark figure, but I have no idea how it compares to what I paid in pounds for my filament
