Sugest you remove Makerware/Makerbot software in its entirety if, you are having problems with USB connection .... especially the files containing the name ' conveyor ' eg. conveyor.plist ' which, apparently, effect USB connections to the printer/s. Good luck !

Ok After many tried i did not succeed in S3D
1. When i export to files, it doesn't create an X3g file ( do somebody knows why ? )
2. When i try to print directly from usb, the printed is homing, preheating then begin to print @ home ( i mean @ max value)
When i'm using the makerbot makerware modified version, sometimes everything goes well, sometimes it hangs @ anchor sequence , extruding @-5
But, when i'm using the factory X3G file ( 20mm calibration cube / dice ) the print is ok, evething goes well....
Any idea ? i'm just feeling bad !
Is it possible that something is corrupt with my computer ? python version ? driver ? me ?
Thx in advance

G-Code is a list of coordinates of where to go, the firmware will figure out how many steps are needed as its printing.
X3G files are a list of "steps", which means that the firmware doesn't interrupt it, it just follows the instructions as is. If the X3G file says step the motor 3 times, it will do that regardless of which printer you are on, Rep 2, Rep 1, M180. Stepping the X motor on these three printers will have different changes for how many mm the extruder head moves.
Simplify3D can create X3G files standard that use the preconfigured profiles for GPX (G-Code to X3G) converter, TOM,Rep1,Rep2,Mbot,etc. With the M180, you'll need to use a custom GPX.ini file in your program folder, to allow GPX to properly convert your G-Code to X3G.

Maybe ... that when you "exported" your .x3g file you have named the file with spaces etc.between words. I found this out the hard way ( MacOSX). Keep the file name simple ( one worded and short ) and the .x3g file should appear to where designated. Endeavour to always print from SD card ... safer !

Hello
I'm a french Freesculpt ex2 owner from one month.
So first, sorry for my english !
Then I have some of yours problems and my own modest solutions.
I think The Freesculpt is a good printer with this quality and this problems.
First problem: the glass plate which slice between the metal parts.
After have broken one glass the first day...i use adhesive two face inside the metal part to fix the glass Plate.
Then, i put o-rings under the two screws.
second : the z calibration and level.
I put over the three screws three lock nuts.
But i have sometime the z axis with is 1mm lower.
Then i works on mac with replicatorg and the drivers are unable and the Pearl support know that.
So i print on sd card.
But i have the same problem on one of my mac,i can't encode in s3g, and on my Imac no problem...!

Hmmm .. interesting. What OS are you using i.e Mac or Windows ? Malyan are not Mac friendly and any firmware updates don't appear to be Mac installable.

Their installer is under windows, or linux under wine.... and as the chinese way of doing things, it's a DOS encapsulated avrdude with firmware in it.
Leave your mail by pm , i send you the file directly
