Yep. Set at 4 & 6. No change.
FWIW the present situation is Pronterface says "connecting ..." and build area of screen flashes about every 2 seconds.

The plot thickens:
Pronterface (printrun?) log has the following entry ... for each time I try to connect.

serial.serialutil.SerialException: could not open port COM2: [Error 2] The system cannot find the file specified.
Correcting this is beyond my knowledge. Can someone help?
