I did email them a month ago and they said soon. But I don't like the sound of soon. It sounds like the opposite.
Be realistic. "Soon" means they think they are nearly done. It does not mean they are just getting started.
Remember, you cannot schedule an epiphany. You can only schedule an anticipated amount of time to resolve issues, and if something takes longer than you thought it would, then "soon" is as good as it gets.
When was the last time you worked on a project where everything went 100% according to plan?
