Same issue as I found last year:

Start points are completely ignored the minute 'print islands sequentially' is ticked.

I’m happy to state that this issue should be resolved now in the latest 4.1.0 release. Our team successfully tested multiple factory files from threads mentioning this issue. Specified start points will now work as intended. This was just one of many improvements to the software. All of which are detailed on our Release Notes page.
