S3D 5.1 and 5.11 Crashing on startup

As the title suggests, both copies of Version 5 are crashing on application startup.

I get the typical S3D startup screen, then after a second or so, I get the blue 'working' wheel adjacent to mouse pointer and then it crashes and vanishes.

I need this sorting ASAP please as I have things to print!!
