In V5.xx

I really miss Override speed settings in machine panel.
Also hate that they swapped all around. The old one was good, everything important in one tab.

and no Support on/off/auto in materialsettings.

Also something else is changed. I get serious blobs everywhere, even though i have retraction at such set.
And LOTS of stringning. Seems retraction and such does not work as before.
Same settings as old s3d.

The V5 support options were relocated to the toolbar so that you can make the changes directly in the 3D view. It's one click to add supports, or one click to remove them if you change you mind. The process was just explained in another thread here:

I do not believe there were any changes to how the retraction works, so if you are suddenly seeing very different blobs and stringing, it's very possible something else has changed between your V4 and V5 prints. Maybe you can post the gcode files that you printed in both V4 and V5 for a simple part, and let us know what layers you are seeing different results. That should make it easy to give suggestions on what might have changed.
