Any ideas why this happens? I'm printed this in ABS at 230 degrees C with a bed temperature of 110 degrees C sliced at .1mm.

I had similar results printing with Bronzefil. Here are the two models http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:738561 and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:715111 Maybe someone can have a look and see if there is some issue with the models. I run them through Netfabb before printing.

Could you attach your factory file so I can look at what might be causing this?

Forgive me but how do I do that?

My guess is one of or a combination of two things:

1) too small layer height relative to nozzle size.

2) too low resolution on your extruder stepper driver axis.

Thanks. here is the factory file for a model printed with Bronzefil with the same results. I'll post a photo of those prints a little later.

You should be fine with those settings. Perhaps your machine needs to be recalibrated. As bronzefill is one of the pricier materials I'd try printing some calibration prints in PLA. You definitely want the settings perfect when using <= .1mm layer height, as the margin for errors is much more noticeable the more detail you aim to have.

Would you suggest .2mm layers?
