Slow down speed for infill thin wall

Hi, during infill thin wall my Prusa is making noise like a drop hammer, movement are to abrupt.
And then sometimes I got shift Y position!
Is there a way to slow down speed during infill thin wall or other workaround?
I have tried to reduce acceleration setting.
( I don't get this behaviour with Cura)
Thanks

Yes, just slow down your default printing speed. The infill prints at the default printing speed.

Maybe increase setting "Allow gap ..." can be a trick to.
So it should make a perimeter instead infill.
I will try that.

Re: Slow down speed for infill thin wall

This is a very frustrating problem on some cartesian printers. Sometimes there is a one small section of a part where the print head is moving back and forth very rapidly in a small area (usually thin wall infill). This causes a violent oscillation that can cause one of the axis motors to be over-torqued and miss steps, ruining the print. Because the problem affects only a small area, it's frustrating to slow the speed down for the entire print. Here are some other options:

1. Set up a new process for the problem area using much slower infill speed;
2. Re-orient the print so that the oscillation is along the lower mass (usually X) axis, or on a 45 degree angle;
3. Reduce acceleration and/or jerk settings in firmware;
4. Use a printer with a stationary build platform;
5. Use Slic3r which has a parameter called "vibration limit" that you can specify in Hertz to limit printer oscillation.

FEATURE REQUST: a "vibration limit" function would be a useful addition to Simplify3D as well.
