Simplify3D User Forum

As a Diamond hotend user I need to use a different slicing software (which sucks) for multicolor prints, so is the amf. file support / mixing extruder support coming to Simplify3D?

Why can't you just use S3D for the multi-color setup? I use it with a 3 color extruder just fine. No need for AMF files, just import the 3 STLs

Yes I do, but some files I want to print is on amf. format.

AMF support would be nice

I'm about to install a Diamond hot end also. Can you tell me how you import the 3 stl's and define the colors? Is there a guide anywhere?

You just setup a different process for each color and then use the "Select Models" button to choose what STL files get printed in each color.
