Selective Scaling of a model im simplify?

OK I have a small print volume. but I can enlarge and print in pieces to get what I want larger.

is there a way to SELECTIVELY enlarge?

for example I am printing the space plane spiral mode model. I enlarged it told it to only print the first 125mm. Good got that.

then I dropped the model into the build plate by 125mm so I can print the second part.

when I do a non uniform scaling I can stretch the model to make it longer or shorter. but this is critical. I need to "NOT" reshape or scale the portion of the model touching the build plate since that will prevent the parts from "mating" together when I try to put them together.

can I pick 2 z axis heights and stretch or compress the model "only" between those selected points? this way I can bring the wings further back with a compress and stretch the nose longer with a stretch to make it more "flight stable" (pushing to the CP back and nose forward to push the CG forward which a rocket will need to be stable)

any ideas?

I don't think there's a way to do something like that in the software. That's something you would need to do in the original CAD package where you designed it, since you are essentially changing the model design and dimensions.
