Jog Control Settings WHILE printing

There MUST be a trick or setting to making "Jog Control" adjustments while actively printing. they work for some cycle (G-Code) and the instantly revert. Folger Kossel 2020.. Oterwise well tuned…except when I use the scissors to cut some threads
Its curious behavior. Is it G0 vs G1?

When you say jog control adjustments, do you mean actually clicking on one of the jog buttons during a print (for example move +X by 10mm)?
That isn't going to stick if you are using absolute coordinates, since the next command will move back to an absolute position. I would also think this is very dangerous to do while a print is running. What's making you want to use that during a print?

Thanks. Yes WHILE printing clicking .1mm to compensate for a SNAFU, when something bumps the carriage, like a cat or a pair of forceps
