Simplify3D adds air to my model

Hello,

I am attempting to print this knife. When i slice it with Cura, it slices fine. But, when i slice it with simplify, it adds air to my print. Eg, the one piece turns into several separate pieces.

It will be much easier to help if you include a factory file (File > Save Factory File)

Its hard to tell from the picture....but this is either errors in the mesh that is causing this.....or the knife is made up of interleaved meshes.

My money is on the latter issue...which can be easily resolved by clicking "Separate Connected Surfaces" on the Mesh dropdown menu. This will split the model up into the separate meshes.....and the knife will then print okay.

I only see a FFF profile in your post. That is not the same as a factory file.
