Hello
I'm having a problem with printing a single extrusion piece.
The coin is a cigarette pack case with 0.5mm walls.
When printing with PLA the angles are just glued.
In FLEX only one on the four corners is correctly glued.
The other three are not attached.
If I print in FLEX a piece without angles also in single extrusion walls of 0.5mm as for example a case of lighter all is well.
From the surface aspect I'm slightly over-extruded so it's not a% flow problem.
My extruder can work well with retractation on FLEX but I did not allow it to slicing
The four sides of the case are well printed, so I have no problem temperature.
My printer allows a setting of the Jerk but even with the lowest value, instead of having a surplus of material, a vacuum is created at the junction of the faces ...
The case being printed in vase mode for PLA, I also tried without this mode for the FLEX with always the absence of junction ...
I do not understand what is happening and do not know what to do.
Thank you for your answers

Here is a photo with the same STL sliced with S3D and Cura 1.5.04.3 :
[Img] https://i62.servimg.com/u/f62/18/80/79/80/20180110.jpg [/ img]
On the top there is a start of printing stopped from the piece sliced with S3D
Below, same piece sliced with Cura, stopped also because just to make a test.
It is known that this version of Cura is not able to handle a wall in single pass.
But the angles do not come off ...
Looking at the print, the slice S3D does not make the joining of the corners.
By also observing the print, the slice Cura makes the junction of the corners during the two passages to build the wall.
My STL is not in question, my printer either.
Print settings are the same at speed, temperature, and nozzle diameter.
On S3D the line thickness is at 0.5 because the part has this wall thickness.
This setting work correctly with cylindric part.
On Cura the line thickness can not be different from the nozzle size.
If S3D is not able to make a rectangular hollow holster of 0.5mm wall tell me, I would rework the ribs of my room on Cura to stop wasting time.

Simply from the image you shared, this looks to be a basic case of layer shifting. https://www.simplify3d.com/support/prin ... salignment

If your prints of the same part are not shifting with Cura g-code, I'd suggest looking at what's happening during layer change between the two g-codes. Look at lift settings, retraction settings, also extrusion multiplier could effect things.

Share the codes here if you want people to take a look. :geek:
