FFF profile location/lockdown

I run a 3d printing lab at a college and have a (relatively) publicly accessible desktop running simplify with several profiles on it. Sometimes a student will edit one of these settings and save over the old (good) profile without me knowing which makes troubleshooting printers even harder.
Is there any way of "locking" a profile or is there a location that simplify stores the FFF settings that i can make a batch script to replace every startup?
