FFF profile location/lockdown

I run a 3d printing lab at a college and have a (relatively) publicly accessible desktop running simplify with several profiles on it. Sometimes a student will edit one of these settings and save over the old (good) profile without me knowing which makes troubleshooting printers even harder.
Is there any way of "locking" a profile or is there a location that simplify stores the FFF settings that i can make a batch script to replace every startup?

I had the same question a week ago, when we created a new 3D printing club at our private high school (I'm a school technician). Here's the detailed explanation how to revoke access to users if you don't want them to be able to make any changes:
