I've used concentric infil and it does go round and round if the object is round. The extruder follows the outline of the object.
I set the infill to 100 % though. It doesn't just do the top layers, it does every layer if the infill is set to 100%.

I've had success by increasing the number of infill angles. Instead of just -45 and +45 degrees I use a bunch of them, like 4 or more, 0, 45,-45,90. This will produce a smaller empty space between infill.

I tried the wizard and it seemed to get rid of the Z offset I had to set in Simplify3D. Does it store a value somewhere? OK I just looked at that again. You are right, if some one were to put that gcode at a layer larger than 5mm, the bed would be moved back to 5mm and then disaster! Good catch. No worries about that since it is pausing the print before the tall part of the print has been printed. Also, the bed moves down 5 mm while moving the head back and forth. No, the M226 code doesn't work on the DaVinci 1.0. Here's a few lines of gcode I used to pause the printer at a desired layer and then move the extruder out of the way. Using simplify3d and all the GCodes I could think of, it seems that the DaVinci printer ignores any code related to pause.

G4; M0; M25 none of these seem to do anything with the XYZPrinting DaVinci printer.

I'm using the DaVinci 1. Not sure where it puts the file after it receives it over USB but the DaVinci ignores the M0 Gcode command. I just tried it.
