Retraction During Wipe Movement Issue

Hey Everyone, When I am printing a small part and have a 4mm wipe length set up. I am getting strange "grinding" sounds from my extruder motor when it is retracting during the wipe movement. I have figured out that this is caused by the fact that there is not enough room for a straight 4mm...

Re: Stop Auto Top View- Moving Parts

I also +1 this. It messes me up every time I move parts around.

Thank you!

Re: Machine Specific GCode Enhancements

Here is an example of the first few lines of GCode generated by Cura for a test model that I made.

;FLAVOR:UltiGCode
;TIME:21285
;MATERIAL:76576
;MATERIAL2:0
;Layer count: 253

If I just put in the TIME or MATERIAL lines, it still registers just fine on the Ultimaker 2.

Thanks,

Re: Placeholder Variable List Request

I would also love to see a list of placeholder or drop in variables that S3D recognizes in my custom GCode. More specifically, I am looking to add the following 2 lines to my beginning GCode script so my Ultimaker 2 displays the total run time and material used on the LCD before selecting the gcode ...

Machine Specific GCode Enhancements

Hello, I am familiar with how to add startup and ending GCode withing S3D, but I would think it woudl be great if S3D could generate machine specific GCode. An example of what I mean is the following. My Ultimaker 2 has a firmware feature where it looks at the GCode for a specific comment at the beg...

Print One At A Time Enhancment

Hi Everyone, I am aware that S3D allows us to print all objects at once or print different profiles in a serial fashion. I would love to see a feature that would allow all objects on the build plate to share the same profile and be able to print in serial or one at a time. What do you guys think? Th...

Factory File Not Saving Object Scale Values

Hello, I have been using S3D for a while now and I must say I am impressed. I have noticed though, that if I save my Factory File my object scale values are not saved, but the object is still scaled. For example, lets say I have an STL file that is a 1cmx1cmx1cm cube. I put the cube on the platform ...

Re: Bad seam on printed tubes. Need to solve ASAP

Hi Everyone, I am also getting this same issue with my Ultimaker Original. It seems as if Simplify3D is creating a bit of overlap at the start-point of the cylinder. I am not convinced that this has to do completely with the retraction as the outer layer will not retract on my print as it moves righ...
