Would be great if I could print an object at 200 microns and finish the last 3 layers in 100 microns or less.
Would make for a fast print with a nice finish.
Update:
I always drew my stuff in inches for my CNC but switched to metric for 3D printing.
I decided to try a print in inches and let the Simpify3d convert it. This made a very acurate print.
Issue solved for me.
There are other post. The people having the issue are all about .5 mm out of tolerance. As far as the changes they did make a difference but in quality not size. I'm happy with the program but trying to make something in 2 pieces to fit one inside the other or a hole for a bushing is hit and miss.
Well I have the same issues. ID and OD are out about .5 mm Wall thickness on the 20x20x20 cube is thick. Tried changing multiplyer layer thickness and a hole shit load of settings one at a time.
