Re: connect simplify3d to my duet web control

You CAN upload directly from S3D. (Replace the X's with your IP address) curl --data-binary "@[output_filepath]" "http://192.168.0.8/rr_upload?name=gcodes/[output_filename].gcode&time=YYY" curl "http://192.168.0.8/rr_disconnect" ----- Pls don't ask me how it works. I think I found this info over on ...

Re: Version 5 Announcement

Talk about first world problems. If it upsets you so much about the time of release, move on! If it upsets you so much about the price of the upgrade, MOVE ON!!! S3D is still my goto slicer. I've seen vids on other slicers, but not enough to compel me to switch. Again, if it upsets you...

Re: Printing in a loop?

I tried to post this yesterday, to find it never got posted?!

Google "3d printer conveyor belt"

Not what your asking for, but I would be nervous if a print stuck a little to hard to the bed.

Re: Printing in a loop?

Not sure if I like that idea. Some prints are really hard to break off the bed.

How about this instead?

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

I purchased another CAD package a few years ago. Cost me $2800. They offered the 1yr free updates as well. Well, at month 13, a paid update came out I was PISSED! Emailed and was flat out told NO to the new version. Made me even more mad... (The up grade price was nearly $400) After a few months of ...

Interesting print anomaly

Doing a little bit of bed leveling and made a test piece.
Loaded into S3D and got what looked like good code.
Then the printer printed it and gave me this outcome.

Still looking into what happened, but thought I'd post now.

P.S. Ver 4.1.1

Double click import?

Any change we can get a double click import, instead of a new instance importing the STL?

Re: Printing hollow with a clean inside?

Usually, one prints the inside layer first, and the outside layer at 50% speed.
Can you reverse that to print the outside layer first, and the inside layer at 50% speed?
See if that works?
