Re: Slicing Velociraptor_Business_Card strange behavior

you are right, factory file would have been handy, I included it now with this reply. Outline overlap of 80% did wonders, bit thanks man. Don't really know why... probably because the inner space between the perimeter is less than the nozzle width... Outline Overlap This value will dictate how far i...

Slicing Velociraptor_Business_Card strange behavior

I wanted to print Velociraptor_Business_Card (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:362357), but slicing it with Simplify3D (default settings prusa mk2s) gives very strange slicing results. Slicing it with Slic3r gives no problems. I am hoping its a S3D setting, but which one... Separate Connected Surfa...

Maker's Muse Tolerant Test, what are the best settings?

Hi, I printed this model https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYuLVN3YHw8 Find out how accurate your 3D Printer is by Printing the Maker's Muse Tolerance Gauge! This model has small gaps that are difficult to achieve - how low can you go? I managed to get 0.2 to move freely with my Original Prusa MK2S. I...

Re: What setting is causing this effect? Weird top layer.

Both profiles have the same layer height. But indeed, if I change the Z offset, suddenly the model looks perfect when sliced.
Also default Z offset when I use "center and arrange" is -0.13, so the model isn't leveled to the service to begin with.

What setting is causing this effect? Weird top layer.

I have 2 Prusa mk2s profiles, one that comes from Simplify3D and the other coming from a user from the Prusa forum. I printed an object only to notice the pattern difference on the top layer. This difference is also seen in the preview screen within S3D. I tried to compare the 2 different profiles b...

Re: Plaintext application settings

I would like to have something similar. I must agree changing settings and being able to compare versions would be handy. Exporting FFF profiles are xml files right? What I would like, which would also answer your question, being able to export the settings (per tab or in total) to clipboard. This w...
