Unable to deactivate license

Has something changed with the license management? I recall being able to log into my account and deactivate an install without any trouble.

I have confirmed that I am trying to uninstall from the computer with the current activation

Not. Cool.

Re: Keyboard shortcuts for move and rotate

In V4, you had to constantly press and hold a button every time you wanted to move a model. For example, if you wanted to arrange 10 different parts on the print bed, this was very tedious. I don't mind this old behavior, actually. If I have a lot of models to align, I will place them roughly with ...

Re: Show/Hide Models

I put my vote for this feature as well. Sooner rather than later please. I gave up on V5 due to several issues, this included, and went back to V4. At the 1Y anniversary for version 5, I was hoping to see some improvements, but it looks like we are on a slow roll of updates again... Mainly, s...

Re: Delete Key Does Not Remove Selected Models V5

I ran into this as well. The keyboard shortcuts can be changed from the tools menu. I'm curious if there was a reason that "Backspace" is the new default instead of "Delete". If I change the shortcut to "Delete", I want to avoid any potential issues that may cause. EDIT...

Re: Print outline around surface layers to improve surface e

This: https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=7906 As for all the processes... there are a couple of groups of processes customized for the part they are printing. Not all parts for all processes are present in the example I posted. I should have removed the extraneous processes to red...

Re: Project walls into floors

Here are some screenshots from Cura. You can see it prints an outline around the bottom surface layer to give the edges of the surface layer something to adhere to around the perimeter. It's a single extrusion, but it makes a world of difference when printing bottom surfaces. The outline is printed ...

Re: Project walls into floors

To expand on my initial post, it seems the problem is exacerbated by the fact that the floors are projected beneath the surface. I've included a few more screenshots to demonstrate. The yellow "floor" is infill. I also included a screenshot from Cura. You can see that Cura includes a solid...

Re: Project walls into floors

No problem. I've attached the factory file I'm currently using. It has several process groups for a few different prints I'm working on at the moment. The process2 group is the most complex, where large object is being printed with several different floors and a few critical stress points in the mod...

Re: Thin exterior wall seperation from solid body

You might also try modifying z-hop and/or enable the "Avoid crossing outline for travel movements". It looks like the nozzle is crossing that corner during certain layers and causing some ooze to get caught between the gap.

Print outline around surface layers to improve surface edges

Top surfaces of a print which contain layers above print very poorly. This is because it appears that Simplify3D does not include outlines for the surface layers to adhere to below the top layer. I don't really know how to explain, but hopefully some images will help. I've gotten around this by sett...
