[ADDED] New location for the object editing window

The object editing window (move, rotate, etc.) appears directly on top of the preview, requiring the user to drag it out of the way for each and every edit. Have it appear to one side, above, below, somewhere other than on top of the part being manipulated.

The same goes for the Support Generation window.

Why can't the x-y coordinates of these windows be automatically saved like windows on many other applications....so the window opens in the last place it was put!

Yup, that's the perfect solution, Doug. Open the window where we put it last time. This annoyance drives me nuts.

Re: New location for the object editing window

This was implemented for version 3.0. There is a new Model Settings Panel which always appears docked on the side of the screen so that it does not take up valuable screen real estate. Other windows like the Support Generation window also remember their previous location so that you can position them wherever you want and they will stay there.

See this video for more details about the new model settings panel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5rLVYpeoXU
