how do I set the print direction for top layer?

I'm printing with support. I can set the support layers to print at +/- 45 degrees [support tab]
I can set the infill to print at 0/90 degrees, rectilinear infill [infill tab]

I'm printing 2 bottom layers and 3 top layers [.3mm layer height, 20% infill]
I'd like the top layer to print 0/90 degrees. right now it prints at +/- 45 degrees and I've
been unable to find a setting tab to use to set it.??

slic3r uses the same angles for infill and finish layers. What does S3D do?
BTW, still prints at +/-45 even when I set support to 0/90.

so short of turning my part so that its at a 45 degree angle what do I do?
using S3D 3.0.1

You can do this on V2 but sadly some bright spark removed that feature from V3.
It is something I used all the time now I am stuck with this cross hatch printing. If enough of us complain then they may put it back.

Who's this aimed at??

Its unlikely the Simplify3D developers will see this thread. You need to raise a thread in the Feature Request section stating the feature needs to be reinstated. Then they'll see it!
