Flashforge Creator Pro Left extruder PLA Heating Issue

Hi all, I've been using my FFCP for a few months now, using ABS and the right extruder. Finally got around to trying PLA but hit an issue straight away.

When set to print it isn't heating the left extruder at all. But it will heat in pre-heat and filament load so not a hardware issue. Using the default profile with temps set to 190 for extruder and 50 for bed. Bed heat up fine.

What am I missing?

Re: Flashforge Creator Pro Left extruder PLA Heating Issue

I'm guessing you are still using the "Right extruder only" profile. In the top right of the process window, you need to select "left extruder only" if you want to print with the left extruder.

If you're still having trouble, post your factory file (file --> save factory file)

Re: Flashforge Creator Pro Left extruder PLA Heating Issue

Thanks but it's not that, I have selected PLA and Left Extruder Only. Temps configured in the Process are left extruder - 190 and Bed - 50 but when I go to print I can see that it is trying to achieve 0 degrees for extruder and 60 for the bed. Bizarre.

Factory File is here.

IGNORE!

I'm printing via Astroprint so using its web interface to monitor the FFCP. Just went to check and despite Astroprint reporting 0 for the extruder and still in heating phase it was indeed at 190 and printing away. So it's a bug in Astroprint :(

However there does seem to be a problem with the prime when using left toolhead as it extrudes a blob on the far right of the HPB which then clogs the nozzle. I'll search for the issue in the forums!
