V3.0.2 Won't Save Preferences in Windows 10 x64

I've installed S3D V3.0.2 on Windows 10 x64. S3D will not save any preferences. I'm using RAMPS and Marlin on a MakerFarm machine. Each time I open S3D the default 'Firmware configuration' and 'Options' load. I've saved an '.frm' profile, but have to manually loaded each time. In 'Machine Control' the baud rate never holds and the machine tries to connect until I intervene and set it differently. No matter what I sent in Marlin, S3D ignores. I've flashed and reflashed my RAMPS and reset the EEPROM and stored it. No help. All 3 of my custom scripts disappear each time I open S3D but will return if I load my custom firmware configuration that I manually load each session.

I'm launching S3D as 'an Administrator' and I've manually changed the permissions to give the 'owner' full permissions. No help there either.

I'd like to try an older version of S3D but could not find any links. I've written support to try to get those so I can test them.

Anyone else having these issues?

Nope. Works fine for me on same OS. Sounds like it might be a permissions issue.

Does it save other settings? If you change settings in the Tools > Options window, does it save those?

Have you tried saving the files to a different location? Try saving them somewhere simple like the desktop with an easy filename like "firmware.frm" just to rule that out.

I'm having this same issue on my Windows 10 machine. It's not saving any of the profiles. Even when I do save them to the HD and try to import them, it sasy they imported successfully, yet they never appear and it sits at the default Process1

It should sit at Process1. That is normal. A new imported profile isn't going to show up as a new process automatically. It just gets added to the bottom of the "Select profile" drop down list. So if you click on "Edit Process Settings" and then click on the profile drop down list, you should see your newly imported profile at the very bottom of that list. You can select it to load those settings.

If you are a visual person like me, there's a video where they load new profiles here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZ7HFPY1wog

If you haven't so far, try loading S3D to the root directory of C drive, and not to the program files area - works fine for me like that.
