If you lightly heat the white marks they disappear very quickly. The first image is untreated and is badly marked. In the second image, I have heated the feet and tail and in the third image I have fully treated the model.

If you can't find something like that, I've heard that a regular lighter will also work. Start about 6" away and slowly bring it closer until the marks start to disappear. If done properly, the model won't get hot enough to deform.
