No contact with perimeter shell

Hi

Trying to print a model, and have problems with a section of bottom solid not contacting the perimeter shell.

The rest of the print is perfect,

It happens on the 4 perimeters before the support, and the 4 perimeters after support

Top and bottom shell is perfect, it's just this 0,8cm strech that dont get covered.

It's the layer under and over the support Image

Re: No contact with perimeter shell

Try increasing your outline overlap setting (on the Infill tab). Add around 10% to whatever value is in there now (for example, if it was at 20% before, make it 30%). May also be good to decrease the printing speed some and see if that helps.

Also, look in the preview and set the coloring type to "feature type" and check to see if these layers are using bridging (yellow color). If they are, you should also check your bridging settings on the Other tab and perhaps increase your flow rate and decrease your speed there.

Re: No contact with perimeter shell

Bottom layer overlap, and the last top layer overlap is perfect, infill overlap is at 36% on this print.

It's just this second solid area that have this problem.( the solide layer on the picture)

You where correct regarding Bridging :-) the bridging accures only on the layer on topp of the support, so I have to try to correct that setting

The layer on top off the support look bad Image.

Here are the Bridging settings, I see the extrution multiplier have been reduced by 40 % so incresing that will at least extrude more. ( have Ultimaker 2)
